I was hooping at the park today as I do sometimes, but unlike most times, the park was FILLED with people.  It's not really surprising considering the absolutely gorgeous cherry blossoms throughout the park. I was just in one of my normal spots and attracted several groups of kids in the 45 minutes I was there.  Three kids came up between songs and asked me for my autograph. (^__^)  I told them I'm not famous, but they still wanted me to sign their notebooks and a ball.  I'm pretty sure one of…  

After almost a year and a half of hooping, I finally decided to try out twins.  I'm using two cheap kids hoops from the local home store.  I may have to go back and find another pair, as these ones aren't balanced.  One is slightly thicker and heavier than the other.  I may be able to tape them differently to make them weigh the same, though. 

I also recently started spinning poi.  I've only managed to get a few moves down so far, but the forward two and three beat weaves and windmill…

 

I just did my first public performance. I was the MC for a local Halloween party and was hooping to kill time before all the kiddies showed up. They asked me to perform while one of the musicians was playing. I only went up for two songs, but it was on a stage in front of more than 100 people. And I was dressed as a bee at the time. I have no idea how I looked, but I did only tricks I was comfortable with, so at least there were no really big screw ups. Go me!

Yatta! I got leg hooping! I've been able to get it to go around just above my knees if it accidentaly fell down there for a while now. No way on earth was it coming back up, though. Today, though, I got it to go down and come back up again. Not just once, so it wasn't a fluke. (Still a no go in reverse current though.)
