I'm stuck in a loop with the hula hoop. When I was a little girl I was abused in every which way. Often I was grounded to my bedroom, with two bathroom visits and a dinner release. In my bedroom held my boom box. Loud music would draw my angry step father towards my room. But I had to dance, so from a young age I would take a few preventable beatings so I could dance in my bedroom. Pretending I'm dancing on stage with Brain Setzer, I had trained myself to ingore reality while I dance. Even…

I haven't posted for a very long time, but I have something worth sharing. In the last couple of years, I have advanced enough to start teaching and I absolutley love my classes. All my students are wonderful its the most favorite part of my week. Through a very unfortunate series of events, every hoop I own, including my hoops for students, were taken and no longer in my possession. Hi! ^_^
PETA has done NOTHING that constitutes terrorism against animals or people.
What PETA has done is go undercover in animal research facilities and factory farms and exposed the abuse. This one organization has made more difference for animal protection than any other, and more rapidly than at any time in our nation's history.
Further, many former PETA employees now work at more conservative humane societies, and have changed old archaic structures from within.
PETA's "naked" campaign is my favorite. It started with one lone woman in Florida standing with a sign that read, "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur", wearing a flesh-colored bodysuit. It sparked a national campaign. ^_^ The ads are beautiful, insightful, and have impact. Every now and then you will hear someone say that PETA exploits women because of these ads. That's crap! Nothing gets our attention like the sight of human skin, and these people pose naked to get attention for animals... I think it totally cool. Also goes to show you that just one person CAN make a difference. ^_^
I live in Neuendettelsau, which is near Nuernberg. I'll be staying here until after Christmas.
Bis hug :*
