Does anyone know of any aerial camps or workshops over the summer? Preferably in the midwest ( I am in KS). I had thought there was one at the Boulder Circus Center but I can't find anything on it.

Hello Kthryn question, I would really appreciate a little guidance about aerial hoops.
How do you set up the Lyra outdoors?
I am 5'3 I think a 36" is good but not sure
Where would you recomend buying it?
Thank you so much

I realized that after I commented. I checked out your facebook page....it's awesome! Maybe someday when I have an actual yard I can get one of your lyra hoops....I'd love to learn.

i wasnt aware there was a school in the kc metro area that taught circus skills, but there is? how awesome. i moved to denver over a year ago from lawrence, ks. oddly enough i live two blocks away from a school that teaches silks lyra spanish web and the cube. i am waiting for my 9 month old to be a big enough boy to let me leave him with his dad so i can take a class. id love to know how you got started, what inspired you.
What type of Hoop is best for beginners? ( I am an advanced pole instructor but still new to Aeriel Hoop)
Thank you for the comment!! Congrats on your engagement Kathryn!! :)

thanks love! aerials are super fun, nothing like being up in the air on silks. i recommend getting a can of cramers firm grip spray, it helped me a tonn learning to climb the silks because i couldnt do it for my life when i first started - it makes your hands stickier so you can get a better grip on the fabric. best of luck<3
oh and your enganed? CONGRATS!! hope all the best for you hooper!
