Lmao!! yep, no dust at all so sand away, i sand these hoops all the time, easy peasy..

lol, there is absolutly no dust while sanding PP, actually polypropylene is completely non toxic food grade tubing, the way I sand is with a tiny dremal, i just run 2 beads along the inside diameter, takes about 2 minutes..

Yahoooo!!..I just ordered some more tubing also, going to make a couple of my students some polypro's!, I love this stuff, I don't tape mine I just sand the inner diameter, but even with tape they are still nice and light.

Okay so here's where it gets tougher lol...the polypro couplings are hard to fit, unless you are able to try them in the tubing before you buy it is almost impossible to know which ones to buy, here's what I do, and in my opinion looks so much better..
Buy the polypro 5/8th (OD) tubing..also get a small amount of the 1/2" (OD) tubing the same polypro..
The 1/2" cut into about 3" pieces and use it as couplers for the 5/8th tubing, the 1/2" slides right into the 5/8th and fits tight, then all you need to do is use 2 pop rivets to secure and it looks beautiful!..hope this helps you out...good luck!!
