"I have let tons of kids play with my cosmic hoop, and it's been dropped on relatively hard surfaces tons of times and still going strong. They are definitely stronger than you think, but you still want to treat them respectfully. Don't…"

"What kind of LED do you have? When I first got my psi hoop (that ran be about $500 when it was all said and done!) I treated it like a new born baby. Seriously, it was redidulous. I went to Hoop Convergence a few months later and it was the…"

Fragile LEDS hoops?

My wonderful wonderful friends clubbed together to get me an led hoop for my birthday. It is a thing of beauty and I love it, but I'm also a bit scared of it! I'm worried it's more fragile than my other hoops and that if I drop it once it might break (and I have been known to drop my hoop every now and then!).So, I suppose my question is, how tough are led hoops - do I need to be extra careful and stick to tricks I know I can do?See More

Hey I'm ok thanks, still recovering - it's taking a bit longer than I'd hoped, but not much I can do about that. There won't be classes at Hallam over summer anyway because they cut classes as the place is really empty when all the students go away. Plus I am going to be over in Germany for the Hoop Convention and EJC during summer. But you should come along to Poi in the Park when that's on - if you are on Facebook search for Poi in the Park Sheffield. Myself and some of the other hoopers are often there, it's usually held in Weston Park or sometimes Endcliffe :)

How funny is that! I have an orange kitty who loves to hang out in my hoops (when they are not being used) too! The orange ones must have the best taste in fun objects to play hang out around.
