As soon as I barely was able to chest hoop-- shakily, while turning-- I wanted to bring the hoop from waist to chest without utilizing my arms. You know, to just shimmy it up there. I could not do it to save my life! After trying off and on for many months, I decided that this was something that my body just wasn't going to do, and stopped trying.

I got lots of hooping time in today. Mother Nature was surely smiling upon Atlanta, GA, because despite it being the end of January, it was sunny and warm outside, just perfect! I mentioned before that I've been a little frustrated at having such a small amount of tricks to work with. So I took the time to learn a new trick even if it wasn't one that just wowed me. I really think I need to go to a few classes soon where I can learn some new things with a bit of guidance.
