"Thanks for sharing. I'm new to the hoop scene, but I too have found hoopers to be the most helpful and supportive people on the planet, not sure why hoopers are so nice, but glad to be a part of it!
So glad your classes are going…"
"AWEOME! You rock girl, why does hooping make chicks look so cool? I have not been able to get a single encouraging practice with single shoulder hooping, I can do a duck out with my arm up, but not on the shoudler. You're an…"
"Hey Janet, yeah, it emails me when someone responds to a comment I've left! You're at a really good spot for 6 weeks, you're being a lot more creative than I was at that time. I'm only starting to experiment and stray from the…"
"Hi Lisa, are you going to get this response? Let me know if you do, I don't see how to reply to your message. I was happily surprised to get your comment. I don't even know how you saw it, how is that? I just…"
" You're doing awesome for only 6 weeks!! I like that you incorporate a lot of reversals, I never did that in the beginning and I'm feeling like I have to make extra effort to work on it now. Awesome hoop too, is it a moodhoop? Which…"
"Great Taylor, thanks! I actually cringed knowing you saw my video, as I was so proud of it at 4 weeks, but now for some reason I see it as so clunky and boring, but I thought it would be neat to do a slow flow to it once every month, for 12…"
"Yayyy! So glad to hear you got it! I used to never wear shorts or short skirts and now as long as it's warm out I do all the time, just so I can hoop easier. (I wear shorts under my skirts like a 10-year-old girl.)"
"Hi Taylor. I am SO glad you posted this. I have only been hooping almost 6 weeks now but right from the beginning, I felt I wanted to post the same message you did. I love luxurious, slow, passionate music music that takes…"
"Thanks. Yes, I just got a led hoop and they have one strip of grip inside and oh my, what a difference, makes leg hooping so much easier! yea, I know, it hasn't been long, I just don't have alot of time to practice,…"
"Hey Tilly. Thanks so much for your reply. Really made me laugh, parts of it, just the way you described the process, it is SO like that. I've had that experience too, I'll be doing a move for ever, and then one day,…"
"Hey, sorry for my delay in reply. I am a full time mom to a 2 year old and a run a business so it's hard for me to find time for hooping and e-mail unless it's late at night.
I just wanted to thank you so much for your…"
"You say you've been hooping for 4 weeks... that's not very long at all, you can't expect to learn everything all at once! It took me 2 years until I was comfortable with leg hooping! Be patient and enjoy the process!
If you feel that…"
"When you're working on leg hooping, make sure your legs are bare. It took me about two to four weeks of practice to get leg hooping down and even then it was only when my legs were bare. If you have to, even go as far as putting a bit of lotion…"
Thanks for the kind words Janet! I would love to see a video of your two week mark! I don't get nausea hooping, but you should try wearing those "seaband" bracelets like the ones for the airplane or a long boat trip!
I can imagine they would help.
Hope we can share our progress as time goes on!
