"I'm not sure if you can get this in other countries, but here in Canada, we have tubing called PEX tubing. I'm not sure if it would be what you're looking for, but it's rigid in that you can't bend it, it's solid, and…"
I started hooping with a water hoop from target appx 36" and the OD is appx 1". I have since purchased a 125 1/2" PE hoop 36" but it's just too light, even with lots of tape I need more weight to master trix. I also have a 100 3/4 PE hoop that's 40" which is too thick and too slllllooooow (but I like the weight).So... for all of you hoop tubing experts out there. Is there anything comparable in size and weight of a target water hoop but RIGID? I love my Target hoop but I find it a bit floppy. I…See More
"Thanks Rhonda, that's exactly what I was looking for. I knew HDPE would be much lighter but

"the only thing HDPE I have right now is 7/8" and it's just a wee bit smaller than my 3/4" PE.
now the 3/4" poylpro i have is MUCH lighter than my 1/2" PE doubles and it's just a little bigger around than it. I've…"
"I purchased a 36" 125 psi PE 1/2" hoop, here's the listing: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/79328426 and it is not floppy at all. Perfect circle, sturdy, I love it... I had her cut mine in half and add an extra connector so I could…"
I'm looking for a hoop that is a bit more rigid than the 125 psi PE 1/2" and have read that HDPE fits the bill. I like the size (thickness) of the 125 hoop though. I would "assume" that the 1" HDPE would be closest as the OD of the 125 1/2" is around an inch but I've read comments that said 3/4" OD HDPE is similar in size to the 125 1/2" PE.Can anyone help me out here. I'd hate to buy the wrong tubing and be stuck with something either too thin to work with or too thick (can't stand the…See More
