Okay, let me share some of my experience from my ballet years...lots of good advice here! The wall advice is good, for center splits, but if you want front splits you can also try hiking your leg up…

I'm a fitness instructor with no insurance. I'm certified through Fitour and all i've ever been required to do is have clients fill out a waiver.

Hey girl, I'm glad you found me! I ended up talking to Luna from Kaivalya for a bit on Sunday morning at hooping. Those girls are so amazing, but very down to earth. I glad we were stalkers together.

I love, love, love my 125 PSI- 1/2" hoops, Jessica! They're so slender, they're kind of hard to grip at first and I'm always flipping them in weird directions. But they're FANTASTIC for off-body work! Great for working with twins or multiple hoops too. +

A few helpful hints on managing a low budget hoop addiction: Call a local landscape or plumbing company and ask if you can recycle their scraps of pvc (usually their scraps = a nice size hoop), use old shirts, pants or sheets with a cool pattern, cut them into strips and use to decorate the hoop. You will need some tape, but the skinny 1/4 inch is only $1/roll on identi-tape, or you could use glue I suppose......but a pack of 15 fun colors is $20 and goes a LONG way, especially if it's just used for accenting fabric hoops. Last hint of hte day is leg warmers, if you go to a thrift store and find a coat, cut it at the shoulders and add fun fabric (the wrist part will go above your halves, with the shoulders flaring around your feet. Fun and funky! Have a great day! Happy hooping :)
