Can anyone expoain or have a tut on the butterfly? Do you do a 'weave' like movement behind you or are you actually spinning the hoops? Thanks!

Ankle Sprain Again: How Do I Prevent This From Happening?

I just sprained my ankle again and now I cannot put much weight on it. Why do I keep spraining my ankle? I wonder how long this will take before I can hoop and exercise as I wish? I do not understand why this keeps happening?



After my hoop camp experience, I learned that many hoopers have re-occurring ankle sprains. So, I wanted to share my experience in working with patients as well as personal experience with ankle injuries.



An initial ankle injury could be due to trauma…  

My Hoop Convergence 2010: Breaking Blocked Flow

So I was sitting at Hoop Convergence opening circle and I realized I was sitting next to Spiral, Shakti, and Miss Rosie to my right and to my left was Jewels, Caroleena, Stefan and OMG! Inspiration! As someone had shared in this circle, our hoop community in‘3-D’. I felt the flow of this amazing circle. I was so honored to have been surrounded by over 140 hoopers ready to geek out all weekend. So let me start from the beginning of my journey.



A few hours earlier, I found myself hooping…

it's illumi-nation - definitely a beautiful hoop. if i can sell it locally without driving, i'll totally sell it for $100 (but firm on that - it's pretty new, just too big for me). let me know if anyone wants it!

i've been here for a year, but am just starting grad school for nutrition. we should definitely get together to hoop sometime! do you ever go to the farmers market?

The way I started at the farmers market was kind of by accident. People kept asking me for hoops and I was having trouble coordinating it all, and my friend Emily makes and sells aprons out there, so she suggested I bring a bunch up there to sell alongside her stuff, and it just kind of stuck
