When did you first start hooping? June 2010

Do you have an indoor hoop space? Yes, my living room is open enough for me to hoop in.

I am a hooper. Addicted already and I just got my hoop today. I am sitting here trying to edit photos and get my work done but I can't concentrate with my hoop hanging on the back of my chair. I just want to dance around with it, even if I can't do anything but waist hooping right now. Sheesh. I guess this is definitely for me. My soul thanks you hooping.

I was able to get the hoop going the very first try - so cool! yesterday I tried to walk while hooping. it is trickier than it looks, but I know I will get it down sooner or later. when do you get your hoop?

I'm stuck in a loop with the hula hoop. When I was a little girl I was abused in every which way. Often I was grounded to my bedroom, with two bathroom visits and a dinner release. In my bedroom held my boom box. Loud music would draw my angry step father towards my room. But I had to dance, so from a young age I would take a few preventable beatings so I could dance in my bedroom. I haven't posted for a very long time, but I have something worth sharing.  In the last couple of years, I have advanced enough to start teaching and I absolutley love my classes.  All my students are wonderful its the most favorite part of my week. Through a very unfortunate series of events, every hoop I own, including my hoops for students, were taken and no longer in my possession.
