When did you first start hooping? Almost a year ago

Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper? intermediate

How often do you hoop? I pick it up everyday but some nights longer than others.

Do you have an indoor hoop space? A little..but I wait until everyone is asleep to really get in to it.

Is there a hoop group where you live? I started hooping in Portland and have yet to make any new hoop friends here. Unless I have gotten them into it.

Did you start it? No... but I'm starting a hoop class which begins this Sunday!

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping? Definitely, and obsessed with watching inspirational hoop videos.

Have you posted hooping videos? No not yet. I'm too shy. but theres one floating around somewhere of me on the local news?

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with? Just the ones i've forced to try it =)

Do you teach hooping? Yes..taught friends...and now starting classes this week.

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? I really like hooping to Bassnectar and Lykke Li..and found myself really getting into MJ

What is your favorite song right now? I could never pick.

Do you buy hoops or make your own? I make my own but there's a pair of twin hoops I desperately want to buy.

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? When I do it a lot yet.

What size is your favorite hoop? I like hooping with smaller hoops but I always find myself with bigger ones bc that's the kind everyone want to buy from me.

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? Yes but I don't like being the center of attention.

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? You Tube and Portland sisters!

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? To practice everyday..share the hoop love with others....and inspire yourself.

Do you fire hoop? I haven't yet but I want to. I need to meet some LA hoopers.

Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it? Yes just got one from Trick Concepts and I love it.

How much time do you spend on safiredance.ning? Not as much as I used to.

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? The Vortex and the Vertical step through.

What is the last trick you mastered? Hmmm ... Probably getting the hoop from leg to waist. working on getting it back in.

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? Vertical chest hooping..and breaks and reversals... I cant find any tutorials on those.

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get? None.. I will conquer!

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? A lot..but I don't know any of you! =(

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience? This past week!

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? Yes and then I showed them my stuff and they ate their words.

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? Knocked my nose ring out! and whacked myself pretty hard a few times.

Have you ever hooped naked? Yep!

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? No but definitely planning to this year!
