When it comes to getting performance opportunities these days it all comes down to knowing the right people. How I got the gig to hoop with EOTO was being friends with Jason Hann back in 2005-2006 and he offered for me to share the space with them, at during a String Cheese Incident 5 day run in CO in 2007. Over the years I got to experience the bliss of sharing the stage with them. They no longer allow performance artists on stage with them, because there was a certain level of "professionalism" lost. I do believe that is the downside to hooping becoming so popular, those who want to perform but are not professional about all it entails.  So really, if you have an event you want to be a part of, you need to write up a proposal and have the proper insurance needed.

Little Falls is a really small town in the foothills of the Adirondack mountains :) about 5 hours north of the city.. (hour or so from albany) so i usually do not head down there often but I have visited to get down at Webster Hall a few times though. i do hit up a lot of concerts and raves around NY state though!
