haha Hi! Your comment is awesome and now to answer the many questions: I have no secret except that I hoop nearly everyday and spend hours doing it and playing. Not ALL day, but that wouldn't be something I'd be opposed to. ;) I haven't been to any Hoop Path workshops or any hoop classes, just watched, played, and whacked myself in the face a lot and threw the hoop around until I got it. I would LOVE to go to Hoop Path, Hoop Convergence, and Hoop technique though, they are truly inspirational. And I definitely recommend playing with lighter hoops a bit--it's like being a ninja. :)

Right on... she's a hairstylist in town at Shear Images. I made her a hoop for Christmas and will be visiting her in March to show her a few off the waist moves. Are there outdoor places to hoop there? Maybe when it's warmer we can all meet up and have a sweet mountain hoop sesh. =)

I'm stuck in a loop with the hula hoop. When I was a little girl I was abused in every which way. Often I was grounded to my bedroom, with two bathroom visits and a dinner release. In my bedroom held my boom box. Loud music would draw my angry step father towards my room. But I had to dance, so from a young age I would take a few preventable beatings so I could dance in my bedroom. I haven't posted for a very long time, but I have something worth sharing.  In the last couple of years, I have advanced enough to start teaching and I absolutley love my classes.  All my students are wonderful its the most favorite part of my week. Through a very unfortunate series of events, every hoop I own, including my hoops for students, were taken and no longer in my possession.
