When did you first start hooping?
Technically I've been hooping since I was about 7, but didn't attempt hoopdance until a couple years ago.
Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper?
Oh...a beginner, for sure.
How often do you hoop?
Lately, almost daily.
Do you have an indoor hoop space?
Yes, a large bedroom with a high ceiling.
Is there a hoop group where you live?
Not that I know of.

I wish someone would start one!

Yes, I'm an addict.

Nooooo! Not yet. That wouldn't be good for anyone.

No! *sniffle*

No way!
What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping?
Usually dance-ey/hiphop stuff, sometimes bellydance music - anything that's got a good beat to hoop to.

It's not really hoop-related, but "All I Want" by Toad the Wet Sprocket
Do you buy hoops or make your own?
So far, I've bought them but I'd like to make one.
Have you lost weight since starting to hoop?
Weight's not a huge issue for me, but I definitely notice it coming off when I hoop regularly.
What size is your favorite hoop?
I'm not actually sure what size it is! I think it's 40".
Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place?
Um...I guess so as long as no one has any big expectations of me. :)
How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today?
Hoopnotica DVDs and lots of YouTube tutorials
Who is your favorite hoop teacher?
I've only recently discovered SaFire's tutorials on YouTube and I LOVE them!!
What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers?
Don't give up! Practice, practice, practice! Do not practice knee hooping if you intend to wear a skirt soon after.

Not yet, but yes, I want to!
Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it?
Nope, I'm hoping that'll be my next hoop purchase.

I have no idea!
