- In 2013, I am devoted to my hoop and yoga practice. I teach myself new things every day and I am inspired by everything around me. Grounding the energies of the divine feminine in order for others to turn within and discover their true loving essence. Connecting to nature and my higher self more often. Practicing intuition, compassion, and love. Studying astrology and yogic philosophy. Following the path of a yogini and radiant hoop dancer.
Hello beautiful hoopers!
My name is Laura. I am 22 years old, and I started to teach myself how to hoop in March 2011! I was inspired to start hooping after seeing hoopers at festivals and raves. Since I picked up my own hoop, it has been an amazing, beautiful journey. I love the process, and I've been hooping nearly every day since. I love feeling and experiencing the bliss of Hooping.
I am also a devoted yogini, and my hooping practice has many parallels to my yoga practice. Both hooping and yoga are ways for me to leave behind worries and embrace the flow of life, my body-mind connection, and the bliss that can only be found in the present moment. My dedicated practice of hoop dancing and yoga allow me to be grounded in my body and how it feels to move freely with grace.

We call Baltimore our home and we would be beyond blissed out to hoop with the Electric Forest Hoop Troupe.
Steve and Laura are a part of Pyrophilia, a diverse fire performing group with many talented flow artists. Laura has been hooping for over 2 years and she practices yoga daily. Steve is also the founder of the Baltimore Free Hoop School, which provides a space for hoopers to convene, play, share, and learn from each other.…

I live in Mt Holly and now that the weather is becoming nicer, I've been going out to Hainsport Park and Long Branch park to hoop and am always looking for a Hoop friend. Maybe some day we could meet up and HoopJam together!
