hooping saves me a lot of money actually lol. if i didnt have hooping i would have continued colorguard from highschool into an independent guard or drum corps which is VERY expensive. hooping is my creative performing outlet

Wooow Gillian your minis are sweet! I had the same issue about the yellow leds looking orange with my PSI hoop... Guess it must be the supplier. But yeah, orange is actually much darker, even though the yellow looks dark itself..

mine is a 4 part sectional. It is great, i love it. the hoop and minis are the perfect sizes ( 36" and set of 24")  I have never actually had it run out of battery yet ( charged it up before shows in case it goes out ). Feels great…

Battery life--it totally depends on if you keep it on the whole time. My first night at Waka, I kept it on while I was sitting, walking around, etc and it went out after like 5 hours. But it stayed bright the whole time, then the purples started…

So I have been through soooooo much this year. I'm finishing up my Bachelors in Fine Arts (concentration in oil painting portraits), I got a promotion (to bartender but it's a promotion none the less), and I finally got serious with hooping. I've been hooping for about a year and a half but I really took to the hoop this summer; which is where this story begins...

Muscular Dystrophy Hooping

I was diagnosed with MD when I was about 15. The form I was diagnossed with is called Charcot Maarie Tooth Disorder (CMT). It is a form of MD where the mylan coating around your nerves and your muscles deteriorate over time. Having CMT means I can't build muscle and my nerves aren't very receptive. I can't run or jump. I can jump about as high as you could if you didn't bend your knees first; and that's with using all of my force lol. I struggled through every activity I ever took on. I always…

So it is snowing right now where I live in Albany and since I know you're in Oswego I figured I'd ask you! Do you ever hoop in the snow? Hello Hoop friend, I am tre inspired by your journal post! I myself was recently diagnosed with a form of epilepsy that leaves me with always lingering and chronic feelings of dizziness and unbalance. However, I started hooping despite it and the hoop is pretty much the only thingthat sustains me and makes me feel a little more in control and happy in my life :) It's hard sometimes with jumps and sustained spins, but it's so euphoric to just get lost in the beauty of it all. )
