Yesterday I was at a conference for work and went to a seminar. It talked about taking time for yourself, setting recreational goals, and living a fulfilling life with fun. I immediately thought how cool it would be to be a hoop instructor and show people how great and fulfilling it can be.  

This, of course, was after I hooped for a morning yoga/tai chi group, just to show them how a hoop can be great exercise. It was my first time in hooping in public, so I barely knew what to say and didn't have a routine, but was still able to get the excitement across to the group.

Well after our very positive, inspiring seminar my boss and I went to the bar to have a drink and wind down. (this is a RARE occurance.) Well we're sitting there and I see a hoop resting on the side of the bar. This girl and her boyfriend were there from Casper and she made hoops. Since there was no one there we got up and hooped on the dance floor. It was the first time I had met a fellow hooper and was able to hoop with them! She ended up giving me a hoop and graciously turned down any money I tried to offer her.

It was very fated for me.

So thank you miss hoop girl for being at the right place at the right time and encouraging me to go for it, maybe without even knowing it.
