"I've been using the same only 3/4" 160 PSI. I dont acually do this, my husband does, so there is more muscle power in it, than if I did it myself. They dont slip in, he has to use muscle to get it in and press it together. I have never had…"

"Wow, I've never had them slip either in or out-- I have to boil the tubing to get them in & once in, they stay! I wonder if there's a difference in your tubing? I'm using Silverline Sil-O-Flex 1/2" 125psi."

"Lisa, I live in Canada, and I have looked high and low for the lasco connectors, and I have had absolutely no luck! I will have to wait until I make a trip across the border, which isn't too often! :( Good luck with your hoop making, you…"

"Judy, when you make regular hoops with the Genova connectors, do you heat the material before installing them or just force them in? Maybe if I didn't use any heat it would keep the gap from forming?"

"I personally have found that the Genova connectors work great for hoops that I am not collapsing. When making a collapsible hoop, they made a big space at the join and seemed to slip back a bit. As far as regular hoops go, I have no problems with…"

"Circular logic:  they don't have as many barbs as the other and they aren't as pronounced.  I found I could install the without heating the tubing at all.  Just as they slip in, they slip out.  The pressure of the hoop…"

"I use the Genova connectors, I think-- at least, mine have nothing to cut off, just a narrow raised line in the center-- they aren't labeled but I do get them from Lowe's-- & I've had no problems with them at all. What makes them…"
