Christmas Talent Show Time!!!

On Thursday, 12/10, my hoop partner Lynn Via and I will be performing at our company Christmas party talent show. Kay Braun helped us put together a routine to "Rockin Round the Christmas Tree". We're looking forward to sharing the hoop love with our co-workers and hope to take home 1st prize $1,000!!! We're not the most experienced hoopers, but I think we can impress!!

Burning Man 2009

Well we're back from Burning Man 2009. Burning Man is an amazing place, the most friendly vacation spot on the planet. Saw lotsa hoopers, fire shows, and very talented performers. I went to two hoop jams, one was a 21st birthday party for a guy named Prometheus, the other was with the VW Bus Camp hoop jam. Both were during the day and quite hot - no shade. - Hey, it was great meeting (and hooping) with you, too on Sunday. :) It was my first time hooping with other hoopers, and I had a really fun time! Everyone is so nice and encouraging. Yep, drove down from Culver City. :) Not too bad of a drive though, about 45-50 min. I plan on coming down for future hoop jams, for sure!
