Good Afro-Brazillian Funk

I went to a neighboring town's music on the green tonight and danced to Sambada- an Afro-Brazilllian Funk band. I found a space open enough that I didn't bonk people with my hoop, but I couldn't see the stage... I had so much fun! Although a part of me is horrified by the pictures because I look so fat! I have put on weight since sustaining a running injury almost 2 years ago. The Best Part of My Workday...

One of my jobs is at a senior living center- I love the residents. Lately there has been tension galore between staff with all the new changes in the services we provide. Some days are great. And some days are filled with open hostility. (Really. I left junior high ages ago.)

I highly recommend the book - even if you don't go 100% raw the way she recommends, its a great resource for vegetarians with lots of really easy recipes. The most time consuming thing is sprouting, but there is no real work involved, just remembering to rinse your sprouts everyday while they grow - and its pretty cool - like a little science experiment in your kitchen! As long as you have a blender and food processor you can make most of the things in the book.

I hope you give it a try!
