Weehee, I made a collapsible hoop, infinity style! All right, it's flimsy as hell (used LDPE, mainly because of my trial-and-error method of searching for tubing) and the shape can hardly be called a circle (more like an omelette), AND the taping is very irregular, but I love it anyway. :D Would post some pictures, but my camera chose this exact moment to stop working. First of all, I am no longer Jadeitea (well, I still am, but not here on this forum). I chose a new name instead - Hooploose, because it reminds me of the movie Footloose, and because (unbelievably) nobody has used it yet, so I hereby claim my rights to this one.

 

Secondly: the bloody LED hoop is done. Yesterday I finished the damn thing. :D It's not the prettiest of them all, but it glows, and therefore serves its purpose. You can see the photos in my gallery.…

Right now I found out that one third of the LEDs I wanted to use are broken or whatever, so I have to order new ones, but no biggie - two thirds still work! It's amazing, because I didn't believe I'd succeed even following the instructions step-by-step.
