I love Annie, Michael Franti, Sublime and Incubus when hooping but really, any EDM with a heavy bassline will do.

What is your favorite song right now?
Don't have one particular song, but I am really loving Shpongle, Entheogenic, Karunesh, Bassnectar and most dub step and most ambient.

Do you buy hoops or make your own?
Make them

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop?
Yep!

What size is your favorite hoop?
42". I love the slow tranquil flow of the larger hoops.

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place?
Not entirely

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers?
Keep trying and you'll get it! Sometimes a trick will just, all of a sudden, "click"!

Too much!

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)?
Uhm, I think it is called Lasso. Whatever the trick is that goes from waist hooping to lifting it from your back to above your head.

What is the last trick you mastered?
I don't know the names of tricks...but basically the one where the hoop is on the vertical axis on one hand then you step through sideways and have the hoop end spinning around the opposite hand.

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn?
Knee to waist!! Still can't get it most of the time. GRRR >=[

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get?
KNEE TO WAIST!!!!

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city?
I have no clue.

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience?
A small audience at house parties.

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop?
HA. No.

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop?
I smacked my ear pretty bad. I had on glasses too and the hoop squished the top of my ear between itself and the arm of my glasses and it was really painful! My ear was bright red and HOT and was sore for about a week :'(

Have you ever hooped naked?
Topless only! That was fun.
