Hating the rain right now...

So here it is June 3rd and is it nice outside, can I go hoop like a crazy lady in my back yard? No! Because the most ridiculous rainy patch I have ever seen has descended on Portland and will just not go away. Its flooding my garden and keeping me cooped up in my house where my poor boyfriend is desperately trying to keep all the breakables away from my whirling and hooping. Sigh. I guess I just have to remember that into every life a little rain must fall and the sun will come out eventually.…

Thanks, Mel for your encouraging words. I keep reminding myself that this community is one of the most nurturing and supportive ones, actually that I've ever encountered. Mostly, I just need to get over my insecurities and post that first video and I'll be fine. Oddly, I don't suffer from stage fright, just camera fright. I think its the fear of being captured on film infinitely. LOL
