Hey Michele, in regards to your question about not being sure about what to do for your burlesque routine I would recommend building your confidence in front of the mirror or in front of a friend which requires practice practice practice. If I were you I'd make up a burlesque name to call yourself to give you some character or help express who you are, get your outfit planned and a creative routine to go with a theme that youd like. Remember burlesque is about story telling through performing a striptease so as long as you have something that is unique to you or expresses you and lots of practice im sure youll do fine! Confidence shows!

The world hoop day is on October 10, 10. However, there seems to be another day on November 11, 10. Can anybody tell me whether we have one world-hoop day or two? Also, I am interested to participate in activities on the world-hoop day in Los Angeles, CA.

for hooping from knees to waist- spin in the direction your hoop is going really slowly. f you are hooping to the left push the hoop out with your right knee or if you are hooping to the right push out with your left knee as you turn. you have to wiggle your butt alot too lol it really helps to get a little wiggle going. also look at lots of tutorials.and thats how i learned i hope it helps! happy hooping

Hy hoop version is a purchased brown bra with matching boy shorts and sequin trim. I made the little 'skirt plates' from sequin trim as well, and it is actually one big belt that snaps shut in the back. My hard version came from www.leiasmetalbikini.com is that where you got yours?

Thanks! I designed this Leia costume to be more hoop friendly. I have another version, which is the movie accurate one, and is NOT easy to hoop in :-(
