Overwhelmed and Impatient...and yet so much in Love

so I'm quite new to the hooping movement, and I am totally in love! <3 <3 <3 Unfortunately, I want to go from fledgling to pro and it doesn't quite work that way (wry smile). I come from a small town and there are a total of 2 hoopers in the area, and I run the risk of driving them crazy with my obsessive questions. I know I've learned a lot so far, but the "basics" escape me...ahh the dreaded chest hooping. Is it normal to be so uncoordinated with new moves? will I ever stop…

- We do live close! I love to go up and play in the Dan River in the summertime. My friends and I did a fire photo shoot there, way off in a remote location. We painted our whole bodies silver and black and spun fire on a sand bar in the middle of the river. It was pretty magical. You are so lucky to get to live in such a pretty part of Virginia/almost North Carolina. You should come down for Hoop Convergence! Or the Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival in Silk Hope. That's a hooper heaven that happens twice a year. I look forward to playing together, hopefully this year!
