Tonight I took my kindergartner to the "health fair" at her school. First, the cool part... for jumping around a bit and answering a few health/nutrition questions, we got a solar/crank radio. SCORE! I've wanted one for a while. Sweet!

So, on Earth Day my little fam went hiking at the Gorge. I had a weird, random, wonderful coincidence.
I live in a mid sized city that doesn't seem to have many hoopers. I've never randomly met another hooper. Its weird that the first time I do, I'm on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere!
I met Victoria (I think) and Byrnie. One was from a place very near where I live, basically the same city. The other was visiting from out of town, but was originally from my area.…

Earth Day Field Trip!

So... tomorrow, John and I are pulling Lil outta school and taking a field trip for Earth Day! YAY! We're heading down to Red River Gorge (Kentucky) for a day of hiking. I'm so excited! This is much needed stress relief for all of us.
And, of course, I'm bringing my hoop. I hope to come back with some good pictures! And NOT lose my hoop over a cliff! But my dilemma is this- My favorite favorite…
