What is your goal for 2012 and why is it important? (Doesn't have to be hoop related.)

I started hooping about 5 weeks ago. I have degenerative arthritis in my entire back, so I was skeptical as to whether I would be able to do it. What I've found is that although I get sore, bruised and tired, I love it and it's actually helping to strengthen and open my back. So my goal is to continue to learn how to hoop dance and not constantly have swollen fingers and bruises, and to keep my back strong.
