Back lift up thingy

I posted a forum entry asking for help on the back lift up, and am glad to say that I finally got it! I can do it standing still AND turning now. It just finally "clicked". And, I'm getting a little better at chest hooping in my natural direction, but the other way---FORGET IT! I look like a fish out of water. But, I'm happy making progress in one direction, so no complaints!

I'm getting better at moving the hoop down from my waist to my hips, and maintaining the hoop there (my Hoopnotica 1 dvd helped). But, the giant left hip bruise is back---which I expected since my form wasn't the greatest---my badge, as someone on here called it. I can hoop on the hips in both directions, but sometimes still have a hard time getting the hoop down, but I know with practice I'll be a whiz in no time.

After practicing for two weeks, and now that the baseball-sized bruise on my left hip (from my first hooping experience in 25 years!) I am making progress! I can't believe how much I enjoy doing something I TOTALLY forgot about over the last two and a half decades. I'm hooked, and am really happy to have found this site. I had no idea so many people were into this. Yay!! :)
