"One possible way to go: Learn how to download YouTube vids and then get a video player that will allow you to step through the video frame by frame or at least view it in slow motion. Mr. Google is an outstanding resource in all these endeavors :p"

One move that I just cant get and I see it used all the time in Youtube videos but it goes to fast for me to see how its done. Its the move where you are hooping at the waist then you grab the hoop, bring it over your head and bring it back down again, then lift it back up and down a few times in a row. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone but if you know of any youtube videos or think you can describe it to me I would be very greatful

YIPPIE!

I have been hooping for about a month now and I am really starting to get the hang of it. I am proud of myself and have been more happy and healthy than I have been in a long time:):) But today was a super special day! Not only did I make my first homemade hoop but I also nailed hooping at the chest, both with arms and without. I never thought I was going to get it but I did....Can I get a....WOOP WOOP, I LOVE TO HOOP!..LOL

My husband made fun of my homemade hoop though.…

Hey Natulie, thanks for the encouragement. Hooping has definitely inspired me to take this on. The food is actually the simplest of all - whole fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds. You can also sprout grains and beans and eat them raw as well - its the cheapest diet ever! Let me know if you want info on giving it a try! Even one meal a day eaten this way is good.

What a funny example of the interconnectedness of things! I was really bummed out about TGG, but I might do my hoop workshop at Harvest instead. It's still kind of up in the air, because it's the weekend right about World Hoop Day and I'm traveling up to St-L for a rockin' hoop party. Hope to catch up with you again sometime and so happy to hear you still have that necklace. Yippee!

OMG, I just read your comment on my profile and I recognize you too! We sang goddess songs & read poetry around a camp fire last summer at TGG. I was going to do a hoop workshop this year, but it was canceled. =-( But it's wonderful to talk with you again!

"children beware you can't run circle around a hooping mama because we are already moving in circles," That is so wonderful! Beware, I will probably use that in conversation for the rest of my life. Welcome to hoop city!
