A hooper without a hoop family

Disappointed and sad.  I hooped by myself for an hour today at the weekly hooping meet up at Bataan Park.  There’s nothing wrong with solo hooping.  I do it every day.   I couldn’t help thinking, however, that I could have hooped by myself in my living room or at a park nearer to my house.   Why bother loading up hoops, music, snacks, and everything else and driving to the park on an otherwise busy day if not for the joy of a shared experience with like-minded people?
