A few months ago I received the best compliment I think I will ever get in regards to my hoopdancing. A man saw me hooping, and a few weeks later I received an email from him that had me crying. He told me his daughter was in a hospital due to a severe eating disorder. The way I was smiling and dancing and blissing out while hooping had him in tears as he hoped that his daughter would be as comfortable in her own body as I am in mine. Finally came in the mail the other day. I really can't wait to start playing with it. I just got a tattoo redone so I have to wait for the healing process to end before I can play :)
Its a 3 foot gold pole, and the wicks are HUGE, almost 4 inches I think. Nervous.
It came from homeofpoi.com, I buy so many things from them..
I have 3 years of colorguard experience so hopefully it isn't too hard to for me.

I'm excited.
