yep, alternately. i just checked myself and seems like i nudge for a bit with one leg, then kinda knee kick it up a little, then nudge some more with my other leg and then give that a little knee kick up, and then back & forth like that until it reaches fairly high on my thighs and then start the circle hooping. does that make sense? sorta nudging up alternately with each leg. and the kicks arent really big strong jerky kicks, they seem to be more like a little extra nudge up. im not sure how most people do it, but i leg hoop nudging with both legs, going back and forth anyways. i guess i didnt explain it that well last time, no wonder you were just kicking like crazy! let me know if this makes more sense, or if it still doesnt work i will send you video. im happy to help however i can.
thats great that youre getting your hoopgirl teaching certif next month!!! i am also jealous as i wish that i could teach too. must be really gratifying!
ps-thanks for your suggestion about working in reverse flow and then going back to regular flow to help with the trick. i never thought about trying that!

i hope that you dont mind, i had a thought- ive been working on my legs in my reverse current lately and what i noticed that worked for me (and pls forgive me, if you already know this and maybe its even common knowledge) is that when i want to bring it up, i keep kicking up with both knees and then when it starts to climb up my thighs- hoop your thighs then hips like crazy in a circle motion and it will go up. and i mean like crazy! for me this was the key. (and of course spinning helps me too) hope that makes sense and hope that im not being rude, i literally am working on that right now and was taking a break and checking email! im so new at this hoopcity thing, im not really sure what is ok to say, so please forgive me if ive over stepped any bounds.
