I gets tons of e-mail on a daily basis so please search the forums and groups to find answers to your questions before sending me a message. There is information about hoops and hooping available through out Hoop City and this community was created to help hoopers connect and share that knowledge.
When did you start hooping? I started spinning poi and hoop in 2006.
What kind of hoops do you use? I've had a lot of different kind of hoops over the years. Right now I am enjoying 3/4 inch polypro tubing for my practice hoops. I use psi hoops for my LED hoops, they have 1 Circuit, 33 inches in diameter, have 7/8" HDPE tubing, with AAA Batteries and sanded on the inside. My fire hoops are from Cosmic Fire Dance. They are the model with removable wicks.
How old are you? I was born on October, 26th, 1983.
How much do you practice? I used to practice 4 hours a day (about an hour each session) now I practice randomly in 5 minute increments or for 4 hours at a time at festivals and retreats.
What size is your favorite hoop? Right now I'm playing with 33" and 34" hoops and using 20" minis.
How did you learn to hoop dance? I am self-taught and have only recently had the opportunity learn from others since starting to teach at hoop retreats.
What advice would you give to beginner hoopers? Keep at it and keep smiling. Also check out my Love the Process video for more general hooping tips.
For more information also check out my performance website.

i am so happy to tell you the next 12 month i will be your student. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year;-))
And i want to share to get rid of the of the sticky stuff after untaping an Hoop i use Oil (sunflower, cocnut doesn't matter which) and Toilet or Kitchenpaper to get rid of the glue rest. Then you don't make any noises so that your room mates can feel comfortable again, while you clean your Hoop. Sorry my English. CyberHugs and a BIIIIIIIIG THANK YOU!!!
