Love this survey! Just thought I would add a formal hello. I recently began hoopdancing and have found my passion. I'm an accountant which has really thrown my friends and co-workers for a loop. Although people that know me well aren't too surprised... it's a great conversation piece. I can't wait for the summer so that I can get my friends hooked as well!

Do you have an indoor hoop space? I can hoop in my unfinished basement but can't do any tricks above my head sadly... the ceiling height is barely 6ft.

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? Yes 5lbs but gained it back over the holidays

What size is your favorite hoop? I started with a 42" and realized I needed a smaller hoop so I made my own and it's 39"

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? In front of friends... and funny enough they think I am great!

What advice would you give to beginner hoopers? Once you learn a trick... MASTER IT! Then do it the opposite way. Whenever you drop your hoop... pick it up and hoop in the opposite direction.

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? No it's not something that appeals to me quite yet

Do you own an LED hoop? Where did you get it? No... I am working towards buying one for Shambhala 2010

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? It was lifting the hoop from waist to laso from behind and then back down to waist hooping

What is the last trick you mastered? Not really a trick but bringing the hoop from waist to neck then laso

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? Chest hooping... still mastering

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get? Knee hooping

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? So far I know of one

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? Just bruising on the legs and arms

Have you ever hooped naked? Nope but waiting for the right moment. My BF already thinks I'm crazy about hooping... that might put me in an asylum :)

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one? No
