Plan on making my own very soon...now just making do with a kid's hoop. (Yes, I know this is frowned on, but I'm big on working with what I have.)

No, but it's only been a couple days.

My smaller one is working okay for now.

No...sounds kind of scary. I have some friends who do fire poi and fire staff, which is cool and I love to watch it, I don't think I'd be interested in being a fire performer myself.
