How I Lost My Hooplove and Why I Need It Back

I've found myself avoiding my hoops for the last months.  I actually can't really remember the last time I was in it. Once upon a time I lived in the the thing.  I would take it with me everywhere with a few extras in case anyone wanted to learn.  I would get them started and send them to my hoop mama for classes and tricks and their own hoops because that is what I wanted and that's what felt right.  But soon those people who I'd helped get started were coming back with a "can you do this?"…See More

Help my Hoop Mama

Last summer I had the honor and pleasure of meeting and befriending Rebecca who brought the joy of hooping into my life.

She was hit from behind at a red light, she's suffered nasty whiplash and requires lots of expensive therapy and treatment to get her body working right again, and as a Hoopdance instructor, this is NO BUENO!

Rebecca is one of the hardest working people I know, so generous with her time and t...alent, and has been…

All I want to do is hoop. In my free time I watch videos of hooping. When I'm at work, I talk to my co-workers about hooping.

I never in a million years thought I would be this into something, but I totally am.

And its really opened me up for a new way of thinking. I was always a "first success" kinda gal. If I wasn't good at something after the first attempt or two, I gave up under the guise that I didn't have time for it,…

Hi Sarah, The book you're thinking of is, "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Haye. You can get it for less than $1 on Half.com. I really love that book and apparently it has been made into a movie now also. Peace and love to you, Caroleeena
