Wow. thanks so much! I know exactly where the union project is.. I've been there a few times. How cool!! Unfortunately I have class at that time until the end of April, but this is continual, right? I just joined this site and am VERY new to my interest in hooping.  I saw that you are a hooping teacher and are in pittsburgh, pa. I was wondering if you still teach lessons and if you have a rate or anything. I would be really interested in hearing more about this to determine if it's something I could afford, if you still do it. Or, if you have any advice for me as a beginner! Thank you so much!

Hi,
I have the Trinity Certificate in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages), and the top certificate is called CELTA (Certificate in English language teaching to adults). Also, you can google the following keywords: TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) or TESL (teaching English as a second language); they're all really different acronyms for the same thing. A good site to check out is www.tefl.com, if it still exists, or the CELTA website itself.

You are very welcome! I do believe we are trying to get a hoop group started here so I'm thrilled about that. We are actually having a short hoop jam on Friday in Ligonier! I am a friend of the SCHU on Facebook:) ha, I went to Derry and actually just moved from Greensburg to Latrobe this year in early April!! Small world :) I was hoping to go to the stadium during the relay for life, I found out that morning that there'd be hooping there, but I already had plans:( well, anyway, happy hooping! I learn more everyday:)

Oh man, it already has, I'm so hooked. I've been hooping in the ocean, and its the best thing in the world. :-)

I've been planning a trip for the end of august to come out, we should hoop together! my friend Christina is making a hoop, I'm so excited. Been practicing on this kid hoop, which gets water in it.

ps. if i had one of your hoops id just hang it on the wall and never use it.. id be too scared to mess up the tape.. you make the most unique hoops eveerrrr... they are artttt.
