Sue replied to the discussion 'Not Sold on PolyPro. Anyone Else Have This Issue?'
"Actually polypro is flexible in larger sizes.  It's not wobbly bendy, but it has a bounce to it.  The bounce is actually very nice to work with when you get used to it and allows really nice transitions.  Many people think they…"

Sue replied to the discussion 'Bruising around Waist - Hoop too Heavy?' in the group Hooping over 40
"Hello It is absolutely normal to get some initial bruising when you learn to hoop.  It means the hoop is banging around a bit.  When you get more skilful at controlling the hoop you will smooth out the rotations so that it keeps in smooth…"

What year did you start hooping? (e.g. 2003)
Time flies! I started hooping in July 2007.
What is your goal for 2013 and why is it important? (Doesn't have to be hoop related.)
Continue to build my business www.fancy-tapes.co.uk to be a force in the UK hooping community, to continue organising and growing the Leamington Spa Hoop Club that I started a year ago in February 2009. Carry on hooping for the fun of it.

Hello Sue! Thank you for your answer. I left a message on Gail's wall.

And, oh, you're the Fancy Tapes Lady! It's really impossible to find varied, good-looking, quality decorative tapes like yours in France. So thank you for that as well! (You've got an(other) order from me somewhere in the pile :-))

Hi, Sue - do you think there is a possibility to take some tapes home to Germany - maybe sending it to the Shropshire address?

Hi Sue - I'm afraid I have to go to the Beginners/Intermediate gathering, as I have a concert on the other weekend. At least the instructors will be the same inspiring bunch at both. How did you enjoy the Hoop Congress?

I have no idea what style my CD is. It's all Indian, straight from India, and the collection is called "Jashan." I have never been able to find anything like it here in the US (but admittedly I have not tried very hard). I found this in a music shop Little India in Malaysia, so it was a pretty specialized discovery.

Sue, I've heard the Bombay Dub Orchestra -- in fact, I think it's here on HC! I added it to my playlist, and love it all. Did you upload it? Anyhoo, thanks for the comment on my Bhangra-ish vid! :)
