yup, so its day two of hooping, and i officially feel like i have been punched all the way around my body by a very tiny little man...i realized that i would probably be feeling it but this is just hilarious...so far so good tho..i totally need to work on some moves, but finding the perfect place to do it is impossible...my house is just not big enough for this, and its too damn cold outside. anyhoot, i guess i will keep rockin it out in the living room and just hope that the christmas…

hey i noticed you were complaining about bruising on your hips. it is normal, but also avoidable. when i started hooping i had terrible bruises on my hips, and then i saw a video on youtube (hula hoop basics vol. 1-3) that told me not to hoop on the bone in your hips. this is what is causing the bruising. if you ever find yourself hooping on the bone, quickly redirect your hoop to either above or below the bones. i hope you understand this all, and i hope this works for you.

Arnica cream is great, and yes hoop bruises are common in the beginning and when you start learning a new move. Until you learn the rhythm of the hoop and know how to get it to gently contact your body rather than bump into it, there are going to be bruises.

I've found that Arnica gel is the best for hoop bruises ;) Arnica naturally helps! https://peacefulmountain.com/store/arnica.php is what I use.

Awww, You're sweet. Yep, don't think Pineville's that far. Maybe 75 miles? My next Level I class starts on January 10th (at 6pm on Sunday nights). Not sure if you could swing it, but if so, I'd love to meet you. OR maybe you could head this way for a hoop jam if we have one on a Saturday/Sunday. The only thing about the jams, is that there's really nothing taught. It's more for us all to practive and gather the good energy from everyone there.
