"That's rough :( Would it help to cover the elastic at all? Like if you cut a strip of fabric, folded it in half, and sewed it around the top, covering the elastic? It wouldn't have to be anything fancy, as no one sees underwear anyway, and…"

Organic clothing for Kids

My daughter is 4 and has a problem wearing panties. The elastic/spandex in the waist band and the legs irritate her skin. She has very sinsitive skin and even the seams bother her. Its becomming a problem. Some clothes even irritate her skin. I am looking for a place to buy girls panties that have no spandex or latex. I'd also be interested in other clothing that is organic. I need to get her to the doc to see exactly what she is allergic too, but its not hard to tell its the elastic in her…See More

Im a bigger girl. Always have been, and probably always will be. And Im ok with that. Problem is, is that when I am looking online for hooping videos, all I am seeing is skinnier girls on the videos. Big girls move differently in my opinion. I feel like it would be easier to watch some videos of girls with a little meat on their bones hooping. I feel like I could learn more from them. If you have videos you could share with me, Id appreciate it!

Thanks Loves!

Thanks for adding me as a friend, Sunny!

Hoop City is a great community; I'm constantly amazed and uplifted by the encouragement I get here. It's one of the reasons I started posting videos; I figured there are so many of us curvy hoopers that we needed to be represented too.

The surprising thing to me is that I'm no longer camera-shy because of it. For the longest time, I'd find ways to hide in photos - behind other people, furniture, etc. - but now I just pose and smile. That's been really healing for me.
