pixieflit28 said… Thats awesome! I had no idea about this site or I would have joined sooner. I joined the MeetUp group this morning:-) It looks like you have a few events coming up soon. I will be out of town the next 2 wkends, but I am looking forward to the MeetUps. I would love to host one at my house, I live on the other side of Reston and my yard is huge. We could probly fit 15 to 20 hoopers easy. I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate, I am hoping to learn a bunch of new tricks before the Rothbury Festival at the end of June.
Congrats hoop newbie nominee :) How exciting!

Danielle Kincaid said… that is beautifully put into words.. There is nothing like letting go of everything and losing yourself in something that you love.. I live in a small town in WV, and I have been trying to get as many people into hooping as I can, especially the teenagers..there is nothing here and I would have loved to known of hooping and the hooping community when I was their age..that way they can feel good about themselves and experience the bliss of letting all your worries go..this state is known for its drug abuse..I have dreams on becoming a drug counselor and using hooping as one the ways of coping with the addiction..Lord knows it helped me in ways that I never would have imagined :)
Danielle Kincaid said… Mine is the 22nd..! I have come such a long way its unreal..and everytime I pick the hoop up it still feels as if Im starting on a new adventure each time..and hooping found me at just the right time in my life..its hard to think now what I would be doing without it :)
