How old are you?

Twenty seven.

When did you first start hooping?

February 19, 2011.

Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper?

Intermediate.

How often do you hoop?

When I first started I was addicted and practiced/played every day. For hours. But now it's anywhere from 2-10 hours a week.

Do you have an indoor hoop space?

Sort of. I hoop in my living room. I've got 9-foot ceilings so that's awesome. But I've hit…

Thats awesome! I had no idea about this site or I would have joined sooner. I joined the MeetUp group this morning:-) It looks like you have a few events coming up soon. I will be out of town the next 2 wkends, but I am looking forward to the MeetUps. I would love to host one at my house, I live on the other side of Reston and my yard is huge. We could probly fit 15 to 20 hoopers easy. I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate, I am hoping to learn a bunch of new tricks before the Rothbury Festival at the end of June.

that is beautifully put into words.. There is nothing like letting go of everything and losing yourself in something that you love.. I live in a small town in WV, and I have been trying to get as many people into hooping as I can, especially the teenagers..there is nothing here and I would have loved to known of hooping and the hooping community when I was their age..that way they can feel good about themselves and experience the bliss of letting all your worries go..this state is known for its drug abuse..I have dreams on becoming a drug counselor and using hooping as one the ways of coping with the addiction..Lord knows it helped me in ways that I never would have imagined :)
