Weight Loss

I have been very proud of myself lately and just wanted to jot down something about it. At my heaviest I weighed 251 lbs and I'm 5'5" so I was morbidly obese D=. About a year ago I tried changing my diet and doing exercise but I was having a hard time staying motivated and I was hungry all the time. About 2 months ago I went to the doctor to talk to her about the trouble I was having. I weighed 240 then so in about a year I only managed to loose 11 lbs =(. I found out that I have…

After the tests the Dr. had me come back in and we discussed that I have hypothyroidism and my insulin is really high. I'm now on medication for those and I have started a diet and exercise program with my husband. I have lost about 15lbs already =D.
Once I loose 5 more lbs I'm going to post a pic =D.
Life long struggle and I'm scared

I have struggled with my weight since I was very young. Tried all
kinds of diets and they would work for a little while but I would go right back
to my old ways. I was scaring myself recently with my eating habits. Recently I
thought I would look into one of those professional all inclusive fitness
programs where they teach you how to exercise and how to cook…

Finally emptied the guest bedroom of all the stuff. Most of it was things that I just needed to get rid of but there were some things that I didn't want to keep but they weren't trash. There was a recliner that I totally forgot I even had, a 37" tv and stand that got wheeled in there when we got our flat screen, a computer and lots of drawings I did. - Of course! I'll try to help you with as much advice as possible. One thing that really really helped me was to move with the hoop. So, if you hoop to the left, walk in a circle to the left. This keeps giving the hoop momentum to keep on going around you. Another thing is try hooping faster. And of course practice always helps. It took me a little while to get waist hooping too! Let me know if this works for you or if you need some more advice. The walking with the hoop party might not come real easy at first. You just have to practice practice practice ;)
