Just past a year, and my thoughts

So I have been hooping for a little over a year, and I love it. Any time I get a free moment I'm either hooping or a hooping related process. Learning new tricks, mastering them, and making them my own. There have been so many people to inspire me, especially the local STL hoop club. Thankfully the ones who inspire me to dedicate myself to everything I do. Gladly, I have also been an inspiration this past year. Attention anyone in the High Ridge/ Fenton/ or surrounding areas in Missouri! I am going to be at Fenton Park on Sundays from 5-9 hooping it up with all of my hoops! If you are interested in meeting up and having some hooping fun just come by! This isn't an official hoop club, but if enough people come and we and get some organization then who knows, there could be a new hoop club for so many more to enjoy! Happy Hooping!

I've been practicing as much as I possibly can, I've been sick lately, but even that won't stop me from learning new stuff. I've only spent 2 hours practicing tonight but I have managed to almost get the vortex trick down. I did have a hard time hooping on one leg, but I think i need to let my knees heal first. I can now move a little more fluidly through the room when I do practice and on Halloween I managed to keep hooping while we walked down the street. I feel that I could do more things…

I've never hoopdanced before but when I saw how awesome and fun it looked I knew I wanted to try it out. So here I am! I'm starting to get used to the feel of my hoop and getting some flow down but the tricks are kind of hard. That can't get me down though, parctice makes perfect they always say right? lol I will be honest and admit I'm nowhere near the best or even good, but maybe I could become pretty good.
