"Fire hoops aren't that heavy... well, they can be, but they aren't necessarily heavy. I got the Quick Wicks from Synergy Fire hoops, so I can swap them around between different hoops. presently it's on a heavy one. My friend Tera has…"

Water vs. Air

Hey All!  I have been using a water hoop lately as opposed to my HDPE.  I want to transition to fire hoop and I figured it would be good to practice on the water-filled hoop to get used to added weight.  I'm finding that it is difficult to do some tricks that I thought I had mastered.  The added load makes my planes a little sluggish and I find it hard to keep it perfectly aligned when horizontal. ...This got me to wondering if other hoopers had any opinions/feedback on the differences between…See More

"I am in Orlando but not in need of a roommate. If I hear anything I will let you know. You may try the crowd at occupy Orlando, lots of people there and may need roommates. Our "camp" is at city hall on Orange and south."

I just moved here too. I'm new to hooping so I doubt I'd be of much assistance just quite yet but it's definitely nice to know there's a hooper nearby! I'd definitely be down to practice, play, or help out with whatever I could sometime :)
