7. Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping? Haha...I'd say just really fond of it.
8. Have you posted hooping videos? How many? Just one with me chest hooping. Nothing special, but I hope to get some routines down so I can film them.
9. Do you have friends nearby to hoop with? Yep, she just got her hoop.
10. Do you teach hooping? NO
11. What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? Well...dubstep, of course. Lots of other dance music.
12. What is your favorite song right now? Skeleton Dance by Beats Antique!!!!
13. Do you buy hoops or make your own? I have two. I taped both but one was bought naked.
14. Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? Yes, but I kinda rebounded because school was taking away from my hooping time!
15. What size is your favorite hoop? Currently I use ~34" and 36". I like them a lot, but I'm interested in trying larger hoops.
16. Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? Not yet...I did a tiny bit at SF Decom but I didn't really know very many moves then so I just waist hooped most of the time :P
17. How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? Youtube tutorials! I hope to have enough skrilla for some of SaFire's classes soon.
18. Who is your favorite hoop teacher? Ah, I don't know yet. I really liked SaFire's free classes.
19. What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? Take your time, move with the hoop, and close your eyes. The key is to understand how the hoop is supposed to feel on your body and hands.
20. Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? I WANT TO! There is a weekly fire hoop group that meets in my town but I haven't been yet.
21. Do own an LED hoop? Where did you get it? No :( I really want one.
22. How much time do you spend on Hoop City? Probably like 6 hrs/wk
23. What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? Vortex.
24. What is the last trick you mastered? I don't know, but I'm working on my barrel rolls!
25. What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? chest hooping. I have that one down, though. yeeee
26. Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get? Barrel rolls. I think it's just because I have very little hoop space.
27. How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? No idea : /
28. Have you performed hooping in front of an audience? Nooo!
29. Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? Haha, no.
30. What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? Just some hip and leg bruises. Nothing catastrophic.
31. Have you ever hooped naked? YES! Oh do I love it. I just have to make sure the roommates aren't home.
32. Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one? Nope, but I will DEFINITELY be going to one. I might try to go to one in Japan when I visit.
