"The one I have is for PVC and brass. I cut my HDPE down with no problems, though it took a few minutes. Because polypro is not as rigid, I could only get about 3/4 of the way through (it would squish instead of cutting), so I took a pair of heavy…"

New Hoop Therapy

Posted on December 8, 2010 at 9:04pm 3 Comments

My sweet HDPE hoop* from http://www.sacred-flame.com/ arrived a few days ago. It came the day after I'd gotten a tetanus, Hep B and TB jab (for school..nursing hurts!). So, of course it just so happens the tetanus shot was in the precise arm spot the hoop rolls onto during shoulder hooping... Fast forward two days to more sore arm spots from blood letting being drawn and I'm desperate to hoop beyond off body moves.

To HDPE or PPE Hoop?

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 1:48pm 2 Comments

Currently I'm mostly using a 3/4 38 in hoop of the black irrigation material. It's been great, but I need something lighter and I'd like to go slightly smaller. I've been flip flopping back and forth all week....I can't decide between the HDPE or PPE blanks from . HDPE sounds great, but people rave about PPE. Thanks! I really wanted a hoop that looked somewhat like fire, as I know I won't be fire hooping any time soon even though I love it :) LEDs are the next best thing!
