Today I thought I would push out of my comfort zone of just hooping around my hips and try and broadening my horizon so to speak... After watching a few tutorials online (including Safire's own knee tutorial) I realized it wasn't so hard... At first it seemed impossible, but then I realized I was hooping the wrong way for which leg I was using as my root and which leg I was using as my pusher. Once I corrected this I got the knee hooping almost instantly... Of course, I can't keep it going for…  

I finally have my own practice hoops! Thanks to the lovable Jamie who was generous enough to bring me not only one but a couple when she was in town! While I have always been a bit shy about the whole hooping business the moment I had one around my hips and was hooping for the first time in years on my bed (the only place in my tiny apartment where I actually have room!)
