How often do you hoop? not enough! twice a week usually, but those two times I try to get in over an hour at a time

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping? I dream in hoop, man.

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with? Yes. i made everyone a hoop.

Do you teach hooping? Yes! I teach private lessons and next semester I'll be teaching minicourses at the University of Wisconsin Madison's student union.

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? oh man, lots of EDM, from booty house to psy, and then hip hop, jam bands, blue grass, whatever i'm feeling. i learn the most tricks while loosing it to some happy core, tho.

Do you buy hoops or make your own? I make my own regular and fire and I buy my LEDs from hoops of creation and cosmic hooper. Both companies make beautiful dependable hoops

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? No. I've maintained a super steady weight, but i am much more flexible than last year at this time.

What size is your favorite hoop? 31in in diameter polypro

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? F to the yes! It's my favorite past time.

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? youtube, found them in my flow, and hoopers all over the country

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? the hoop knowns only the limits that YOU set. set no limits

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? Yes! I double firehoop.

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? multi hooping is a constant challenge, which is why i love it.

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? People don't tend to say things like that to me.

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? Nothing too bad. Lots of bruises around my knees the two weeks I was struggling with one leg hooping.

Have you ever hooped naked? yes!!! and it was awesome.

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one? Hoop Convergence! it was awesome
