- My goal for 2013 is to meet Antoine Dodson, teach him to hoop if he doesn't already, and maybe pay his way to Hoop Path or some other big hooping event.
I have loved The Cruxshadows for years and I would really love to introduce the hooping community to them. Their music is high dance energy. The band has had three Number One songs on the "Billboard Hot Dance Singles" charts. The songs are: "Sophia", "Birthday" and their newest release, "Quicksilver". Their single, "Immortal", made it to the Number 2 position.
The reason I think the hooping community will love them is because they are so danceable, their message is powerful, and as we have "warrior" style hooping, I think this might be the ultimate "warrior" band! Most of their songs are about battles and fighting for the good, sometimes from the perspective of a guardian angel, as in "Winterborn".
It might also be noted that their new female violinist, Johanna Moresco, is a hooper. *__*
